The pieces shown on this site have been developed over the last two and a half years. They are themed around the experiences of love and loss and the many emotive feelings these induce. All are snapshots of my own experiences or of those very close to me.

As a musician and songwriter for many years, an integral part of each painting are the words that accompany it. Indeed, many of these paintings start out in written form and the images grow from there.
I work mainly in acrylic but also produce work in watercolour and pastel. I have also recently started work on sculpted versions of some paintings shown on this site.
As well as the work produced from my own experiences, I have completed commissioned pieces that depict certain memories or emotions. These are particularly rewarding to paint as they have a personal connection to, and resonance with, the person who has commissioned the work.
Many of the pieces viewable on this site are available as A1, A2 and A3 prints.
