Sarah Kwan is a 2008 Fine Art graduate from Duncan of Jordanstone College, focusing mainly on painting and drawing.
The main theme of Sarah's work is her experience of different cultures, being British born Chinese.
The hybrid nature of Sarah's work consists of combining images influenced by both Eastern and Western culture. The intended result is to re-create and unite these influences onto a surface, multi-layered, mirroring the complex identities of different people.
Amongst Sarah's other intererests are, nature, relationships, memories and humour in artwork. .
